With immediate effect, Wilfried Pruschak (Mag.) and Friederike Petznek-Stadlbauer (Mag.) have been appointed as new Supervisory Board members of PC-Ware Information Technologies AG by the District Court of Leipzig in accordance with Section 104(1) of the Stock Corporation Act (Aktiengesetz – AktG). Alongside Rudolf von Sandersleben, the two newly appointed Supervisory Board members will initially discharge their duties until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

Wilfried Pruschak, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH, and Friederike Petznek-Stadlbauer, Operational Investment Manager at Raiffeisen Holding Noe-Wien GmbH, join the Supervisory Board of PC-WARE AG in replacement of Dr. Wolfgang Vehse and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lassmann, who both resigned their posts last week for entirely personal and unrelated reasons. Both gentlemen made a strong contribution to the company's growth, and the close bond forged between them and PC-WARE will remain well into the future. "In my role as CEO and as a shareholder, I would like to take this opportunity to thank them both for their dedicated service to PC-WARE," said Dr. Knut Löschke.

Background

Wilfried Pruschak is the Managing Director of Austrian-based Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH. Friederike Petznek-Stadlbauer is a member of the Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH. In mid-October 2008, Raiffeisen Informatik acquired a strategic interest in PC-WARE via its Group subsidiary "PERUNI" Holding GmbH, and at the end of November 2008 a voluntary public takeover offer was submitted for the purchase of all shares in PC-Ware Information Technologies AG. "PERUNI" Holding GmbH currently holds approx. 73% of the interests in PC-WARE. The company plans to acquire further shares that are currently in free float.

As the second-largest shareholder, the Löschke family currently holds around 16% of the shares and intends to retain this interest in the company.

"I am pleased that we are now also represented on the Supervisory Board of PC-WARE, thus allowing us to shape our further collaboration. This strategic partnership has provided us with the opportunity to expand our resources and expertise in a concerted effort, e.g. within the area of SaaS (Software as a Service) and outsourcing," emphasized Wilfried Pruschak (Mag.).
