PC-WARE E-Government at the CeBIT 2007
PC-Ware Information Technologies AG will be present with seven booths at the CeBIT 2007 (15 - 21 March 2007). In this way, the Europe-wide operating IT service provider will introduce the newest innovations in the area of software, licensing, asset management, security and E-Government in cooperation with partners like Microsoft, CITRIX, VMware and Acronis.
Dr. Knut Löschke, CEO of PC-WARE: "We are an IT service provider who concerns himself with software management and infrastructure support; we increasingly produce complete proprietary IT solutions. Here, we preferably target the upper middle-class, major national and international clients, as well as the public sector. We have been very successfully doing this for over 17 years and were able to build up a wealth of expertise in dealing with these client groups. We give our experience back to our customers by offering custom tailored solutions matching their requirements. Above this, we have grown into an innovative solutions provider in the E-Government area. Backed by this experience we will introduce our newest solutions based on standard systems at the CeBIT 2007.”
"Get connected"- Solutions for safe and legally compliant communications between businesses and administration.
The exchange of business data among public services and enterprises or citizens is of central importance in E-Government. This ranges from simple information to the integration of highly complex business processes. For this reason it is of utmost importance to administrative institutions and their customers to utilize compatible communication solutions for network integration. More importantly, the integration of various legacy applications into inter-agency administrative processes, as for example residence registration, commerce and trade or construction trade is the focus of the PC-WARE solution portfolio. With a view to the new EU-service directive and the intended advancement of the trans-national trade with services, this necessitates a cross-national and effectively operating electronic information and communication system.
The "E-Government Starter Kit" (EGSK) facilitates quick and scalable entry into electronic management for public administration and authorities, which caters to the needs of the general public. Designed by Microsoft and PC-WARE as a modular and virtual agency, the entry package incorporates all the software required to enable processes and communication via the Web. All administrative bodies can use it; customization and scalability options are also integral to the package.
Existing specialist applications, i.e. within the scope of resident registration, judicial system or civil registry (county recorder) can be provided by EGSK either inter-connected to other specialist applications or online. It includes central rights management, which can be used to control view and approval permissions. Web support can therefore be used for sending, processing and dealing with all sorts of enquiries from members of the public, companies and institutes.
The motto is: "Virtual office hours: 24 hrs a day" Both sides save time and resources, administration processes are accelerated, made more efficient and are generally far more oriented towards members of the public.
