PC-WARE announced today that it has been recognized by VMware as a winner of a VMware Partner Network Award, in the EMEA Solution Provider of the Year category. The award was presented at VMware Partner Exchange 2010, VMware’s annual partner event, in February in Las Vegas, Nv.

PC-Ware Information Technologies AG continues its strategy of internationalization by establishing PC-WARE North Africa in Algiers, Algeria. The offerings of the company cover both the fields of data center and software licensing and services.

International structures established for new corporate strategy

The ICT solutions provider PC-WARE had to contend with a fall in revenue by 6.3% to €216.4 million in the first quarter. In parallel, however, the company recorded an increase in the volume of Enterprise Agreements (agreements concluded directly between Microsoft and the customer), as a result of which the overall volume of business rose by 4.7% to €336.4 million.

Dr. Knut Löschke, CEO of PC-Ware Information Technologies AG, and Dr. Tillmann Blaschke, CFO, are stepping down from office. As of today, the Supervisory Board has appointed three new members to the new Management Board.

PC-WARE AG experienced a moderate first half: given the more pronounced recessionary trends and subdued sales generally associated with trading during the summer months, the management is satisfied with the Group's revenue growth of 21.7% to EUR 396.0 million and can look to the future with continued optimism.

Austria’s Raiffeisen Group secures capital increase with sights on a majority shareholding

Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH, part of the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank Group, today announced its intention to acquire a strategic interest in international ICT service provider PC-Ware Information Technologies AG. Under the terms of an immediate capital increase by PC-WARE, Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH has undertaken to inject up to EUR 36 million into the German firm via its subsidiary “PERUNI” Holding GmbH. It has agreed to purchase all the new shares not taken up by existing shareholders at a price of EUR 16.50 per no-par-value share. Again via “PERUNI” Holding GmbH (Vienna), Raiffeisen Informatik Group intends to make PC-WARE shareholders a voluntary public takeover offer at the same price of EUR 16.50 per share in cash. In this way, it hopes to acquire a holding of at least 50.1% in the share capital of PC-WARE.

Under the authority granted by the General Meeting of Shareholders on 26 August 2004 and with the approval of the Supervisory Board dated 10 October 2008, the Management Board of PC-Ware Information Technologies AG, Leipzig, (ISIN: DE0006910904) has unanimously decided to increase the company’s share capital by EUR 2,218,000 from its current level of EUR 6,124,335 to EUR 8,342,335. To this end, the company will issue 2,218,000 new individual bearer shares with a nominal value of EUR 1.00 per share and furnished with dividend rights from 1 April 2008. The cash inflow from this capital increase is intended to strengthen the company’s equity base and to finance renewed growth.

PC-WARE Information Technologies AG is systematically continuing its internationalisation. Following the successful entry to the Russian market last year, the ICT service provider is now expanding in Kazakhstan and the Ukraine. Kiev (UA) and Almaty (KZ) were selected, as two of the economically strongest regions of these countries, as headquarters of the new subsidiaries.

PC-WARE recorded another successful start to the new financial year, propelling first-quarter EBITDA by 41.4% year on year to EUR 4.0 million. At the same time, sales revenue developed extremely well, climbing by 41.2% to EUR 231.0 million. Both figures mark new records for the company and bear testimony to the dynamic rate at which PC-WARE's business has developed since its inception. Furthermore, the latest financial data shows that there was no significant contraction of the market in which the Group operates. Although the current climate is being closely monitored by PC-WARE's management team, the company will not be deterred by the gradual emergence of pessimism within the economic arena.

PC-WARE, one of Europe's leading full-service ICT providers, again succeeded in maintaining its forward momentum during the 2007/08 financial year. Operating in an IT market that remained stable despite the financial crisis sparked off in the US, the Group again generated significant revenue growth of 12.2% based on provisional figures, taking the total to EUR 776 million. The trend towards a higher percentage share of direct Microsoft Enterprise Agreements – a type of contractual agreement that contributes to the overall volume of business but does not involve revenues being recognised and reported by the Group – became more pronounced, as a result of which PC-WARE recorded a business volume equivalent to approx. EUR 960 million. Compared with the previous financial year, this corresponds to growth of 17.7% in 2007/08.

The Supervisory Board of the PC-Ware Information Technologies AG has extended the contract with Dr. Tillmann Blaschke (45) by a further five years. Dr. Blaschke is responsible for Finance, Controlling, Human Resource Management, Legal and Organisation on a Group Level. Dr. iur. Wolfgang Vehse, Supervisory Board Chairman, explained this decision: "The extension of the contract ensures the successful development of the company and the trusting relations to outside financiers and company shareholders through continuity in the Management Board".

PC-Ware Information Technologies AG, one of the leading manufacturer-independent IT enterprises in Europe, today announced that Symantec recognized the company as one of the award winners at Symantec’s annual "Altiris Solutions Partners in Excellence" event – APEX 2007 – in Coronado, CA on February.

PC-WARE has set a new record in both sales and earnings for the first nine months of its current financial year. As on previous occasions, business towards the end of the calendar year, which is generally considered a buoyant period for the IT industry, provided growth impetus for the first nine months, lifting sales revenue by 6.8% year on year to EUR 592.4 million.

PC-WARE Information Technologies AG has completed a successful second quarter in its 2007/8 financial year, lifting revenue by 6.2% to EUR 161.8 million over the course of the summer season, which is traditionally considered one of the weakest periods for the industry in general.

PC-WARE AG will acquire Comparex Central Europe and Iberia – a group of companies belonging to Comparex Group B.V., Netherlands, retrospectively as from 1 June 2007. As partof the acquisition, enterprises in a total of eight countries will be taken over – based in Austria,Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Romania. In finalising the agreement for a 100% interest in the companies to be acquired, the international IT serviceprovider has strengthened its market position in Europe by a substantial margin.

The IT Service Provider PC-WARE wins the Pan-European tender of the Procurement Office of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. As announced today by the Procurement Office, PC-WARE thus is the confirmed Select trading partner for the next two to three years. The contract regulates the Microsoft software licensing procurement according to public procurement law for the entire federal administration with a volume of € 30-50 million per year.

Today at an event at Axelborg, Ravenholm announces that the company will be changing its name from Ravenholm to PC-WARE. Leipzig 27 October 2006 – IT service provider PC-WARE has won the pan-European tender for the "Procurement of Standard Software for the Federal State of Hesse" organised by the Hessische Zentrale für Datenverarbeitung (HZD). The general agreement subsequently concluded between the HZD and PC-WARE covers the procurement of software licences, media and support for the Hesse state administration encompassing a workforce of some 160,000 civil servants and salaried staff, the emphasis being on fast and reliable supply in a manner that complies fully with legal and product-specific requirements. 
Leipzig, 24 October 2006 – Committed to expanding its system-house activities, PC-WARE has implemented a targeted programme to capture new customer segments with the help of a consistent marketing approach. Microsoft officially announced the launch of the pan-European eGovernment solution "Digital Townhall" as part of an EU Open Day hosted by the European Commission in Brussels on October 9-12, which brought together municipal and regional representatives from around Europe.
