PC-WARE Information Technologies AG has completed a successful second quarter in its 2007/8 financial year, lifting revenue by 6.2% to EUR 161.8 million over the course of the summer season, which is traditionally considered one of the weakest periods for the industry in general.

PC-WARE AG will acquire Comparex Central Europe and Iberia – a group of companies belonging to Comparex Group B.V., Netherlands, retrospectively as from 1 June 2007. As partof the acquisition, enterprises in a total of eight countries will be taken over – based in Austria,Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Romania. In finalising the agreement for a 100% interest in the companies to be acquired, the international IT serviceprovider has strengthened its market position in Europe by a substantial margin.

The IT Service Provider PC-WARE wins the Pan-European tender of the Procurement Office of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. As announced today by the Procurement Office, PC-WARE thus is the confirmed Select trading partner for the next two to three years. The contract regulates the Microsoft software licensing procurement according to public procurement law for the entire federal administration with a volume of € 30-50 million per year.
PC-Ware Information Technologies AG, a global IT service provider, has agreed to an EMEA partnership with Altiris, a leading provider of service-oriented management solutions. The agreement was agreed upon in Leipzig by Ed Reilly, General Manager Altiris EMEA and Dr. Knut Löschke, CEO PC-WARE.
PC-Ware Information Technologies AG and IBM will be significantly extending their partnership. As the two companies announced at CeBIT 2007, the focus of their continued collaboration will be mainly centred on the expansion of solution-based systems company services and expanding their software business at EMEA level.
PC-Ware Information Technologies AG will be present with seven booths at the CeBIT 2007 (15 - 21 March 2007). In this way, the Europe-wide operating IT service provider will introduce the newest innovations in the area of software, licensing, asset management, security and E-Government in cooperation with partners like Microsoft, CITRIX, VMware and Acronis.
Today at an event at Axelborg, Ravenholm announces that the company will be changing its name from Ravenholm to PC-WARE. Thereby, the largest software supplier in Denmark takes the final step to becoming a full member of the PC-WARE family. That means an even better service for the international customers that will be able to buy software for the entire organisation from Denmark. At the same time, PC-WARE Competence Centre will be introduced. The centre will be supporting the customers in solving their IT challenges.

PC-WARE will in future be an important sponsor of one of the most famous orchestras in the world, the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig. Today Prof. Andreas Schulz, the director of the Gewandhaus, in the presence of the conductor of the Gewandhaus orchestra, Riccardo Chailly, handed over the premium partner certificate to Dr. Knut Löschke, chairman of the board of management of PC-WARE.
Leipzig/Johannesburg, 15 January 2007 – Today the Global ICT Service Provider, PC-WARE announced Maurice Staal as the new Managing Director for its South African subsidiary who was employed on 1 January 2007.
This IT Company has been operating in Johannesburg and Cape Town since 2003 and is expanding its customer, service and solution portfolio.
