Ivaylo Slavov, formerly Head of Services Banking & Insurance at Microsoft Germany, has been appointed as the new Director of PS responsible for driving the company's expansion within this area at EMEA level.

Therefore, the next logical step forward is to expand our portfolio within the area of services and tailor our activities to the special requirements of our customers. In pursuing this approach, we will be able to offer more target-group-specific solutions and achieve sustainable growth in enterprise value," said Dr. Knut Löschke, CEO of PC-WARE.

In his new role, Ivaylo Slavov will be responsible for expanding the services unit at EMEA level. Ivaylo Slavov has a proven track record in international business and can draw on an extensive pool of business contacts established with global IT enterprises over recent years. Highly experienced in implementing large-scale projects within the area of IT services and equipped with finely honed skills in business and process consulting, Mr. Slavov will be in charge of shaping a comprehensive network dedicated to providing unrivalled expertise. Within this context, the main focus will be on developing a next-generation service portfolio to be applied consistently within all subsidiaries, while safeguarding the Group's high quality standards and introducing additional sector-specific solutions.

Ivaylo Slavov joined PC-WARE from Microsoft on October 1, 2006. Having completed his studies in International Relations and Business Administration, he gained in-depth knowledge of the IT services sector as Senior Project Manager at SEB Bank as well as Manager Banking Solutions at Unisys Germany.

"Based on its existing expertise and customer relations, PC-WARE has enormous potential when it comes to driving strategic, target-group-oriented growth within its services portfolio. Some of the key areas on which to focus in the future are Multivendor Support, Infrastructure Services as well as Full Service concepts for customers with international operations. We shall also be pushing our PC-WARE solutions, for example within the area of eGovernment, eProcurement and Software Asset Management," explained Ivaylo Slavov.
