For a modern E-Government Solution the unobstructed communication between several administrations, citizens and companies is very important. In the process information must be integrable into solutions and administrative procedures without media break. As well it is essential, that data and information from administrative procedures can be embedded into communication devices (E-Mail, Web-Portal, etc.).

Legal binding data exchange

All messages are recorded in a legal binding inbox- and outbox logfile. The Virtual Mail Room verifies the signature autonomous and hands that signature certificates via a XKMS2-interfache (X-KISS) - used by the OSCI(R) infrastructure too - to a signature verification component. Depending on the configuration of the Virtual Mail Room services messages can be allocated (e.g. via OSCI^®, E-Mail- or FTP-forwarding, file-system) for a further processing, e.g. E-Government Integration Kit.
The Virtual Mail Room works as a OSCI^®-receiver. This enables a virus-scan of the OSCI^®-content before forwarding to the definitive recipient.
