History
Dr. Knut Löschke is the founder, principal shareholder and CEO of PC-WARE. Founded in the year of German reunification (1990), the company is now Leipzig's only stock exchange listed company and the second largest licenser of Microsoft software in Europe taking precedence over Dell, Siemens and HewlettPackard. Since being launched, the company has risen from three employees and revenue of 0.3 million euros in the first fiscal year, to a group that generates around 700 million euros in global revenue and employs 1,400 people.
PC-WARE has grown into one of Germany's largest companies on the basis of its core business of software licensing and software asset management. With the consistent development of special service skills, the penetration of additional complementary areas of business and full IT solutions packages, PC-WARE intends to push forward into the league of globally operating IT service providers and exceed the revenue threshold of 1 billion euros by 2009.
