The company headquarters is located in Leipzig, Germany. The group's parent company is the German corporation PC-Ware Information Technologies AG.

As the result of targeted acquisitions, the PC-WARE Group has developed into one of the leading IT service providers in Europe. The largest acquisitions in the company's history were the takeover of the subsidiaries of the American company "Programmer's Paradise" in 2001, the takeover of the Scandinavian Ravenholm Group at the beginning of 2006 and the acquisition of Comparex Central Europe and Iberia in June 2007.

Besides the PC-WARE subsidiaries in Germany, our companies in Great Britain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, South Africa, Switzerland, Romania, Sweden, Russia and China also operate under the "PC-WARE" name. In April 2007, the subsidiaries of the former Ravenholm Group in Norway, Finland, Denmark as well the former "Datacontact" in Austria and "BISON Systems" in Switzerland were rebranded as "PC-WARE". "Digitrade" is represented in the Czech Republic. Based on collaboration arrangements secured under contract, PC-WARE also has a presence in Canada, the USA, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Australia, Hungary and Bulgaria.

Our flat hierarchy rests on the fundamental idea that there should only be centralisation when there are going to be clear advantages when compared with a decentralised option. We have therefore established a PC-WARE Holding Group within PC-WARE, bundling the group-wide responsibility for strategic business development and the individual group-wide business divisions, as well as further functions such as Global Account Management, strategic marketing, corporate communications, investor relations, business analysis, accounting, technology development and human resources.
