International Tender Desk & Research Services

Reporting to Operations Manager (ISOT)

Job Purpose
To establish, co-ordinate and maintain an information management service related to the provision of International Tenders & Research Services so as to maintain and develop international business in accordance with agreed business plans.
This position plays a central role in creating and maintaining critical processes and systems to support the achievement of our international sales strategy.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

Tender Services - 50%
1. Co-ordinate the development of an evolving knowledge management infrastructure, including maintaining the company’s international sales proposal and presentation templates;
2. Manage the organisation’s knowledge management database for efficient retrieval, tracking and storage;
3. Assist and co-ordinate the provision of support activities required to ensure that PC-WARE can respond to RFP’s in a timely and professional manner.
4. Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to research activities.
5. Promote and practice effective communication throughout the organisation, necessary to maintain and develop international Sales within the PC-WARE Group.

Research Services – 50%
1. Co-ordinate the development of an evolving research management infrastructure;
2. Manage the organisation’s research database for efficient retrieval, tracking, and storage;
3. Undertake guided research related to project proposals, reports or any other aspect of client and research work; providing this information in a timely and appropriate way;
4. Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to research activities;
5. Promote and practice effective communication throughout the organisation, necessary to maintain and develop international Sales within the PC-WARE Group.

Education & Work Experience
• Experienced professional, 5+ years relevant commercial experience
• International experience, in a multi-functional role desirable
• (in-depth) understanding of software licensing

Personal Situation
• No 9 – 5 mentality.
• Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month within Europe if required.

This is a full-time position (40 hours) based in our Amsterdam office (at 5 minutes walking distance from Station Sloterdijk).
